Equilibrium: Asian American Voices

  • Open Book 1011 South Washington Avenue Minneapolis, MN, 55415 United States (map)

The Loft's long running spoken word series Equilibrium (EQ) returns with a showcase featuring Asian American artists during a disturbing era marked by a visible upswing in anti-Asian violence. This event features Tony award winning spoken word poet Beau Sia, with special guest performances by Eva Song Margolis, Cydi Like the City, and Sun Yung Shin.

This event takes place in-person in the Target Performance Hall at Open Book; all ticket holders must show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 PCR test result received within 72 hours of the event, and, if 5 years of age or older, wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Face shields may be worn in addition to a mask but not in place of one. Bandanas, gators, and masks with vents are not acceptable forms.
