Bursting with passion, music and humor, Emilia is a play based on the real-life of 1569 English poet Emilia Bassano. The play tells the fictional story of her relationship with William Shakespeare, her tremendous skill as a writer, and her determination to thrive and uplift women’s voices at a time when laws were designed to restrict women’s rights.

Masks are optional for Thursday and Saturday paid performances.
Masks are REQUIRED for Friday and Sunday paid performances.
Recommended for ages 13 and up.

Takes place at the Open Book Performance Hall May 4-7, 18, 20-21, 25-28 and Jun 1-4 (Post-show talk May 6, 26)
7:30 pm shows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays, 4 pm on Sundays.
